In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Timber Creek Regional Chargers basketball team scored a close 59-54 triumph over the Deptford Spartans.

The Chargers (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Kingsway (Woolwich Township, NJ). The Dragons go into the Tri-County - Royal contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, Kingsway nipped Washington Township (Sewell, NJ), 52-42, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans confront the Clearview Pioneers (Mullica Hill, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 23. Deptford will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Pioneers go into the contest with a 6-9 record after their 73-69 league loss to Gloucester County Tech (Sewell, NJ).
