The Oakdale Warriors (Oakdale, LA) basketball edged the host DeRidder Dragons (DeRidder, LA), 53-51 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 14-12 record. They play next when they travel to Plainview for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 23.
With the loss, DeRidder falls to 5-23 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Leesville (Leesville, LA) to play the Wampus Cats in a 4A District 3 bout on Friday, January 24. The Wampus Cats go into the bout with a record of 10-12.
