In Tuesday's league contest, the host Memphis Business Academy Execs basketball team scored a big 67-34 triumph over the Douglass Red Devils.
The Execs (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Memphis Rise Academy (Memphis, TN). The go into the 2A District 15 contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Memphis Rise Academy was trounced by Lakeland Preparatory (Lakeland, TN), 63-40, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Red Devils confront the Booker T. Washington Warriors (Memphis, TN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 23. Douglass will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 7-6 record after their 69-54 league win over Manassas (Memphis, TN).
