The Ell-Saline Cardinals (Brookville, KS) basketball were winner over the visiting Republic County Buffaloes (Belleville, KS), 59-42 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Cardinals now possess a 9-0 record. They play next when they travel to Bennington for a Heart of America bout on Tuesday, January 21. Ell-Saline will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 59-55 league loss to Sterling (Sterling, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Republic County falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Classical (Wichita, KS) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Friday, January 24. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Classical lost 57-28 in their recent non-league bout against Berean Academy (Elbing, KS)
