Illinois High School Basketball - Evanston knocks off Loyola Academy

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) and the host Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL), observed Evanston's basketball team overcome Loyola Academy by a margin of 49-33.

The Wildkits (17-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Warriors come into the Central Suburban - South challenge with a 14-6 record. In their last challenge, Deerfield dropped by Fremd (Palatine, IL), 55-54, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Ramblers battle the Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Catholic - Blue challenge, on Friday, January 24. Loyola Academy will attempt to better on its 16-6 season record. The Caravan come into the challenge with a 18-3 record after their 54-42 non-league win over Marmion (Aurora, IL).
