In Tuesday's league contest, the host Fredericksburg Christian Eagles basketball team scored a close 58-57 triumph over the Seton Conquistadors.
The Eagles (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA). The Gryphons go into the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, New Covenant was tipped by Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA), 73-49, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Conquistadors battle the Trinity Christian Gryphons (Fairfax, VA) in a VISAA Division II contest, on Thursday, January 23. Seton will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Gryphons go into the contest with a 6-4 record after their 49-45 league loss to Christ Chapel Academy (Woodbridge, VA).
