Tennessee High School Basketball - Gibson County can't get by South Gibson

The South Gibson Hornets basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Gibson County Pioneers to 53 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now possess a 13-9 record. They play next when they host Dyersburg for a 3A District 13 game on Friday, January 24. South Gibson will play a Trojans team coming off a 63-60 league win over Dyer County (Newbern, TN). The Trojans record now stands at 10-8.
With the loss, Gibson County falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Peabody (Trenton, TN) to play the Golden Tide in a 2A District 14 game on Friday, January 24. The Golden Tide go into the game with a record of 15-4. Peabody lost 67-49 in their recent league game against Westview (Martin, TN)
