The Pittsburg Panthers basketball team scored 39 points and limited the visiting Groveton Eagles to 36 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Moultonborough Academy for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 22. Pittsburg will confront a Panthers team coming off a 62-45 league loss to Mascenic Regional (New Ipswich, NH). The Panthers record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Groveton falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Colebrook Academy (Colebrook, NH) to confront the Mohawks in a Division IV game on Friday, January 24. The Mohawks go into the game with a record of 4-7. Colebrook Academy lost 63-58 in their recent non-league game against White Mountains (Whitefield, NH)
