The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA) and the visiting South Hardin Tigers (Eldora, IA), observed Grundy Center's basketball team knock off South Hardin by a score of 59-46.
The Spartans (13-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Columbus (Waterloo, IA). The Sailors come into the non-league challenge with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, Columbus dropped by Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA), 57-27, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels (Reinbeck, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 23. South Hardin will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record.
