Arkansas High School Basketball - Hector holds off Mountainburg

The Hector Wildcats basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Mountainburg Dragons to 63 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hackett for a 2A Region 4 game on Friday, January 24. Hector will confront a Hornets team coming off a 57-42 league win over Westside (Coal Hill, AR). The Hornets record now stands at 16-3.
With the loss, Mountainburg falls to 9-11 on the campaign. The Dragons host Acorn (Mena, AR) to confront the Tigers in a 2A Region 4 game on Friday, January 24. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 7-14.
