The Towns County Indians bounced the visiting Highlands Highlanders basketball squad by a final score of 66-36 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
Next, the Indians clash with the Warren County Screaming Devils (Warrenton, GA) in a A D2 Region 8 outing, on Friday, January 24. Towns County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Screaming Devils come into the outing with a 12-7 record after their 77-62 non-league win over Elbert County (Elberton, GA).
The Highlanders (4-11) will now prepare for their outing against Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC). The Black Knights come into the 1A Smoky Mountain outing with a 7-5 record. In their last outing, Robbinsville routed Swain County (Bryson City, NC), 81-54, in a league outing.
