The Liberty-Eylau Leopards basketball team scored 81 points and limited the visiting Hooks Hornets to 43 in the Leopards league triumph on Tuesday.

The Leopards now possess a 28-0 record. They play next when they travel to Marshall Christian Academy for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Liberty-Eylau will play a Guardians team coming off a 58-54 non-league loss to East Texas Homeschool Sports (Longview, TX). The Guardians record now stands at 7-12.

With the loss, Hooks falls to 15-12 on the campaign. The Hornets host Atlanta (Atlanta, TX) to play the Rabbits in a 3A Region II District 14 game on Friday, January 24. The Rabbits go into the game with a record of 16-11. Atlanta won 74-50 in their recent league game against Queen City (Queen City, TX)
