The Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) basketball crushed the host Oak Mountain Eagles (Birmingham, AL), 75-43 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Buccaneers now possess a 24-0 record. They play next when they travel to Service for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 23. Hoover will play a Cougars team coming off a 60-28 league win over Chugiak (Chugiak, AK). The Cougars record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Oak Mountain falls to 19-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL) to play the Rebels in a 7A Area 6 bout on Friday, January 24. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 16-7. Vestavia Hills lost 41-40 in their recent league bout against Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL)
