The Magicians (15-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Mandan (Mandan, ND). The Braves come into the AA West challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, Mandan dropped by Minot (Minot, ND), 94-71, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bluejays encounter the Dickinson Midgets (Dickinson, ND) in a AA West challenge, on Friday, January 24. Jamestown will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Midgets come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 66-56 league loss to Bismarck (Bismarck, ND).
