The Marist Spartans were victorious over the visiting Junction City Tigers basketball squad by a final score of 56-46 in Tuesday's league outing.
Next, the Spartans clash with the North Bend Bulldogs (North Bend, OR) in a 4A Sky Em outing, on Friday, January 24. Marist will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 4-12 record after their 65-58 league loss to Cottage Grove (Cottage Grove, OR).
The Tigers (5-10) will now prepare for their outing against Marshfield (Coos Bay, OR). The Pirates enter the 4A Sky Em outing with a 13-2 record. In their last outing, Marshfield ran past Marist (Eugene, OR), 49-41, in a league outing.
