The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Powell Panthers (Powell, TN) and the visiting Karns Beavers (Knoxville, TN), observed Powell's basketball team overwhelm Karns by a score of 77-41.
The Panthers (9-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Campbell County (Jacksboro, TN). The Cougars come into the 4A District 3 challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Campbell County was routed by Knoxville Central (Knoxville, TN), 60-44, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Beavers encounter the Oak Ridge Wildcats (Oak Ridge, TN) in a 4A District 3 challenge, on Friday, January 24. Karns will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record.
