Kilgore Bulldogs (Kilgore, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball team thwart the visiting Spring Hill Panthers (Longview, TX), 46-27 in a league contest.

The Bulldogs (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX). The Knights go into the 4A Region II District 16 contest with a 9-15 record. In their last contest, Cumberland Academy topped Henderson (Henderson, TX), 43-34, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Carthage Bulldogs (Carthage, TX) in a 4A Region II District 16 contest, on Friday, January 24. Spring Hill will attempt to better on its 10-18 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 1-9 record after their 42-38 league loss to Gilmer (Gilmer, TX).
