In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Trinity Christian Eagles basketball team scored a close 70-66 win over the Lake Country Christian Eagles.
The Eagles (22-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lubbock Christian (Lubbock, TX). The Eagles come into the TAPPS 4A District 1 contest with a 16-6 record. In their last contest, Lubbock Christian edged Trinity (Midland, TX), 81-20, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Midland Classical Academy Knights (Midland, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 1 contest, on Friday, January 24. Lake Country Christian will attempt to better on its 12-12 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 6-13 record after their 55-53 league loss to Temple Christian (Fort Worth, TX).
