In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting New Egypt Warriors basketball team scored a good 52-44 triumph over the Lakewood Piners.
The Warriors (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Point Pleasant Beach (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ). The Garnet Gulls go into the non-league contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Point Pleasant Beach topped Liberty (Jackson, NJ), 84-52, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Piners confront the Wall Township Crimson Knights (Wall, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Lakewood will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Crimson Knights go into the contest with a 11-3 record after their 45-37 non-league win over Neptune (Neptune, NJ).
