The Lompoc Braves basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Pioneer Valley Panthers to 40 in the Braves league triumph on Tuesday.

The Braves now possess a 17-4 record. They play next when they host Santa Maria for a Ocean game on Friday, January 24. Lompoc will confront a Saints team coming off a 57-51 non-league win over Coastal Christian (Pismo Beach, CA). The Saints record now stands at 18-4.

With the loss, Pioneer Valley falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Panthers host Orcutt Academy (Orcutt, CA) to confront the Spartans in a Ocean game on Friday, January 24. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 11-7. Orcutt Academy lost 57-42 in their recent league game against Paso Robles (Paso Robles, CA)
