With the victory, Madison County upgrades its record to 9-6 on the year. The Tigers host Plainview (Rainsville, AL) to face the Bears in a 4A Area 16 match on Wednesday, January 22. The Bears enter the match with a record of 20-4. Plainview won 72-37 in their recent non-league match against Fyffe (Fyffe, AL)

The Falcons now sport a 1-22 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Randolph School for a 4A Area 15 match on Friday, January 24. St. John Paul II will face a Raiders squad coming off a 60-37 league loss to Madison Academy (Madison, AL). The Raiders record now stands at 13-9.
