Nebraska High School Basketball - Madison nips Stanton

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Madison Dragons basketball team scored a close 56-52 triumph over the Stanton Mustangs.

The Dragons (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Humphrey-Lindsay (Humphrey, NE). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Humphrey-Lindsay was tipped by Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] (Clearwater, NE), 61-34, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars (Lyons, NE) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 25. Stanton will attempt to better on its 1-14 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 4-11 record after their 56-34 non-league loss to Wakefield (Wakefield, NE).
