The Magnolia Science Academy Pirates (Santa Ana, CA) basketball crushed the visiting NOVA Academy Eagles (Santa Ana, CA), 73-42 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bethel Baptist for a Western bout on Wednesday, January 22. Magnolia Science Academy will play a Warriors team coming off a 60-25 non-league loss to Acaciawood (Anaheim, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-8.
With the loss, NOVA Academy falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Eagles host Liberty Christian (Huntington Beach, CA) to play the Minutemen in a Western bout on Thursday, January 23. The Minutemen go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Liberty Christian lost 77-73 in their recent non-league bout against Eastside Christian (Fullerton, CA)
