The Mascoma Royals basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Newfound Regional Bears to 40 in the Royals league triumph on Tuesday.

The Royals now have a 10-1 record. They play next when they host Fall Mountain for a Division III game on Friday, January 24. Mascoma will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 75-27 league win over Hillsboro-Deering (Hillsboro, NH). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Newfound Regional falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Winnisquam (Tilton, NH) to confront the Bears in a non-league game on Friday, January 24. The Bears go into the game with a record of 0-11. Winnisquam lost 73-27 in their recent non-league game against Gilford (Gilford, NH)
