In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Mayfield Cardinals basketball team scored a big 82-51 triumph over the Trigg County Wildcats.
The Cardinals (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against Fulton County (Hickman, KY). The Pilots go into the non-league contest with a 3-10 record.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Livingston Central Cardinals (Smithland, KY) in a District 5 contest, on Friday, January 24. Trigg County will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 5-7 record after their 81-47 non-league win over Century (Ullin, IL).
