The Meridian Warriors basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Mountain View Mavericks to 46 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Timberline for a 6A Central Idaho game on Friday, January 24. Meridian will play a Wolves team coming off a 56-32 league win over Eagle (Eagle, ID). The Wolves record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, Mountain View falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Owyhee (Meridian, ID) to play the Storm in a 6A Central Idaho match on Friday, January 24. The Storm enter the match with a record of 11-4. Owyhee won 63-59 in their recent league match against Centennial (Boise, ID)
