Idaho High School Basketball - Minico triumphant over Wood River

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Minico Spartans (Rupert, ID) and the host Wood River Wolverines (Hailey, ID), observed Minico's basketball team overwhelm Wood River by a margin of 66-40.
The Spartans (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Jerome (Jerome, ID). The Tigers come into the 5A Great Basin challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Jerome trounced Mountain Home (Mountain Home, ID), 39-25, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Burley Bobcats (Burley, ID) in a 5A Great Basin challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Wood River will attempt to better on its 1-12 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 67-37 league loss to Twin Falls (Twin Falls, ID).
