Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mohawk Area routs New Brighton

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Mohawk Area Warriors basketball team scored a big 62-21 win over the New Brighton Lions.
The Warriors (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Shenango (New Castle, PA). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Shenango was trounced by Neshannock (New Castle, PA), 58-47, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Ellwood City Wolverine (Ellwood City, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 1 contest, on Friday, January 24. New Brighton will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Wolverine come into the contest with a 10-6 record after their 84-59 league win over Riverside (Ellwood City, PA).
