In Tuesday's league test, the Pebble Hills Spartans (El Paso, TX) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Montwood Rams (El Paso, TX), by a score of 51-40.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Eastwood Troopers (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region I District 1 test, on Friday, January 24. Pebble Hills will attempt to improve on its 16-10 season record. The Troopers come into the test with a 21-5 record after their 71-45 league win over Franklin (El Paso, TX).

The Rams (20-7) will now prepare for their test against Coronado (El Paso, TX). The Thunderbirds come into the 6A Region I District 1 test with a 16-8 record. In their last test, Coronado went down by Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX), 45-43, in a league test.
