The Shining Light Baptist Academy Sharks were victorious over the visiting Mountain View Christian Academy Mustangs basketball squad by a final score of 57-49 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Sharks clash with the Tabernacle Christian Rams (Monroe, NC) in a NCCSA A West Region 2 outing, on Friday, January 24. Shining Light Baptist Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Rams enter the outing with a 6-6 record after their 67-64 non-league win over Cornerstone Christian Academy (Statesville, NC).

The Mustangs (7-8) will now prepare for their outing against Heritage Christian (Hudson, NC). The Eagles enter the CSAA outing with a 0-6 record. In their last outing, Heritage Christian was defeated by New Manna Christian (Marion, NC), 72-36, in a non-league outing.
