The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Murray County Central Rebels (Slayton, MN) and the visiting Red Rock Central Falcons (Lamberton, MN), observed Murray County Central's basketball team knock off Red Rock Central by a score of 78-58.

The Rebels (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda (Okabena, MN). The Coyotes come into the A Section 3 challenge with a 2-12 record. In their last challenge, Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda was knocked off by Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN), 76-48, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Edgerton Flying Dutchmen (Edgerton, MN) in a A Section 3 challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Red Rock Central will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Flying Dutchmen come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 64-55 non-league win over New Ulm Cathedral (New Ulm, MN).
