North Carolina High School Basketball - North Surry overwhelms North Wilkes

The North Surry Greyhounds basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting North Wilkes Vikings to 33 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Tuesday.

The Greyhounds now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Wilkes Central for a 2A Foothills game on Friday, January 24. North Surry will play a Eagles team coming off a 76-40 league win over Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, North Wilkes falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC) to play the Cardinals in a 2A Foothills game on Friday, January 24. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 7-8. East Surry lost 68-60 in their recent league game against Surry Central (Dobson, NC)
