Poland Knights (Poland, ME) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Oak Hill Raiders (Sabattus, ME), 50-40 in a league match.
With the victory, Poland upgrades its record to 8-4 on the year. The Knights host Wells (Wells, ME) to face the Warriors in a B South match on Friday, January 24. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 2-8. Wells lost 57-50 in their recent league match against Lake Region (Naples, ME)
The Raiders now sport a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boothbay for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 22. Oak Hill will face a Seahawks squad coming off a 67-48 non-league loss to St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME). The Seahawks record now stands at 4-10.
