The Lions (17-10) will now prepare for their contest against Valley View (Valley View, TX). The Eagles go into the 3A Region II District 10 contest with a 10-15 record. In their last contest, Valley View was tipped by Callisburg (Gainesville, TX), 47-38, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Pilot Point Bearcats (Pilot Point, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 contest, on Friday, January 24. Whitesboro will attempt to better on its 21-8 season record. The Bearcats go into the contest with a 5-12 record after their 51-41 league loss to Boyd (Boyd, TX).
