California High School Basketball - St. Margaret's holds off Portola

In Tuesday's league contest, the host St. Margaret's Tartans basketball team scored a close 70-64 triumph over the Portola Bulldogs.
The Tartans (8-14) will now prepare for their contest against Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, CA). The Breakers go into the Pacific Coast contest with a 8-15 record. In their last contest, Laguna Beach was tipped by Irvine (Irvine, CA), 64-54, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the University Trojans (Irvine, CA) in a Pacific Coast contest, on Friday, January 24. Portola will attempt to better on its 8-15 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 5-14 record after their 60-45 league loss to Northwood (Irvine, CA).
