Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Ringgold victorious over Southmoreland

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Ringgold Rams basketball team scored a good 71-63 triumph over the Southmoreland Scotties.
The Rams (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA). The Black Hawks go into the WPIAL 5A 3 contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Bethel Park was topped by South Fayette (McDonald, PA), 49-47, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Scotties battle the Charleroi Cougars (Charleroi, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 4 contest, on Friday, January 24. Southmoreland will attempt to better on its 11-4 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 6-6 record after their 45-33 league loss to Waynesburg Central (Waynesburg, PA).
