California High School Basketball - Sonora holds off Ripon

January 21, 2025: Ripon, CA 95366

The Sonora Wildcats basketball team scored 42 points and limited the host Ripon Indians to 41 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now possess a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ripon Christian for a Trans Valley League game on Friday, January 24. Sonora will confront a Knights team coming off a 74-31 league win over Orestimba (Newman, CA). The Knights record now stands at 15-5.

With the loss, Ripon falls to 11-9 on the campaign. The Indians host Escalon (Escalon, CA) to confront the Cougars in a Trans Valley League game on Thursday, January 23. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 12-8. Escalon lost 57-44 in their recent league game against Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA)
