California High School Basketball - West holds off South

In Tuesday's league contest, the host West Warriors basketball team scored a close 57-54 triumph over the South Spartans.
The Warriors (15-10) will now prepare for their contest against El Segundo (El Segundo, CA). The Eagles go into the Pioneer contest with a 7-16 record. In their last contest, El Segundo was tipped by Torrance (Torrance, CA), 48-47, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Spartans confront the North Saxons (Torrance, CA) in a Pioneer contest, on Friday, January 24. South will attempt to better on its 16-9 season record. The Saxons go into the contest with a 13-11 record after their 45-42 non-league loss to Bellflower (Bellflower, CA).
