California High School Basketball - Steele Canyon overwhelms El Capitan

The Steele Canyon Cougars basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host El Capitan Vaqueros to 16 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now have a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mission Bay for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Steele Canyon will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 52-41 league loss to St. Augustine (San Diego, CA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, El Capitan falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Vaqueros travel to Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA) to confront the Matadors in a game on Saturday, January 25. The Matadors go into the game with a record of 0-0.
