Colorado High School Basketball - Gateway holds off Thornton

The Gateway Olympians basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Thornton Trojans to 69 in the Olympians league triumph on Tuesday.
The Olympians now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Denver Christian for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Gateway will confront a Thunder team coming off a 43-33 league win over Kent Denver (Englewood, CO). The Thunder record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Thornton falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Trojans host Mountain View (Loveland, CO) to confront the Mountain Lions in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 22. The Mountain Lions go into the game with a record of 1-2.
