In Tuesday's league contest, the host Stevenson Pirates basketball team scored a close 32-27 win over the North Monterey County Condors.
The Pirates (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hollister (Hollister, CA). The Haybalers come into the contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Hollister edged Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville, CA), 66-31, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Condors battle the Marina Mariners (Marina, CA) in a contest, on Tuesday, January 28. North Monterey County will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Mariners come into the contest with a 3-8 record after their 46-44 league loss to Rancho San Juan (Salinas, CA).
