In Tuesday's league contest, the host Andes Central/Dakota Christian basketball team scored a close 53-46 triumph over the Corsica/Stickney Jaguars.

The (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Avon (Avon, SD). The Pirates go into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Avon was tipped by Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD), 52-46, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Jaguars confront the Ethan Rustlers (Ethan, SD) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 23. Corsica/Stickney will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Rustlers go into the contest with a 7-3 record after their 55-47 league loss to Centerville (Centerville, SD).
