The Monarchs (13-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Fightin' Irish come into the West Catholic challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory dropped by Valley Christian (San Jose, CA), 40-38, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA) in a West Catholic challenge, on Friday, January 24. Archbishop Riordan will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 40-38 league win over Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA).
