The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR) and the host Bigelow Panthers (Bigelow, AR), observed Quitman's basketball team overwhelm Bigelow by a margin of 56-23.

The Bulldogs (20-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR). The Warhawks come into the 2A Region 5 challenge with a 17-9 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Vernon-Enola trounced St. Joseph (Conway, AR), 43-30, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Conway Christian Eagles (Conway, AR) in a 2A Region 5 challenge, on Friday, January 24. Bigelow will attempt to better on its 13-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 61-44 league win over South Side (Bee Branch, AR).
