Nevada High School Basketball - Bishop Gorman triumphant over Palo Verde

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Bishop Gorman Gaels (Las Vegas, NV) and the visiting Palo Verde Panthers (Las Vegas, NV), observed Bishop Gorman's basketball team overwhelm Palo Verde by a margin of 71-21.

The Gaels (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA). The Monarchs come into the non-league challenge with a 21-2 record. In their last challenge, Mater Dei trounced Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA), 77-35, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights (Las Vegas, NV) in a 5A Southern challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Palo Verde will attempt to better on its 6-13 season record. The Blue Knights come into the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 60-13 league win over Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, NV).
