In Tuesday's league contest, the host Riverside Rebels basketball team scored a good 51-34 triumph over the Buffalo Island Central Mustangs.
The Rebels (23-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR). The Thunderbirds go into the 2A Region 3 contest with a 9-13 record. In their last contest, Cross County topped Corning (Corning, AR), 51-33, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Corning Bobcats (Corning, AR) in a 2A Region 3 contest, on Thursday, January 23. Buffalo Island Central will attempt to better on its 13-11 season record. The Bobcats go into the contest with a 2-16 record after their 53-36 league loss to East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR).
