Next, the Cavaliers encounter the Buckfield Bucks (Buckfield, ME) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 23. Valley will attempt to improve on its 12-0 season record. The Bucks come into the test with a 12-2 record after their 53-32 league loss to Carrabec (North Anson, ME).

The Cobras (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Wiscasset (Wiscasset, ME). The Wolverines come into the non-league test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, Wiscasset went down by Morse (Bath, ME), 70-11, in a non-league test.
