Minnesota High School Basketball - Cedar Mountain knocks off Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Cedar Mountain Cougars basketball team scored a good 63-47 win over the Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds.
The Cougars (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart (Hector, MN). The Mustangs come into the A Section 2 contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart defeated Cleveland (Cleveland, MN), 71-47, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Thunderbirds battle the Lester Prairie Bulldogs (Lester Prairie, MN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop will attempt to better on its 4-12 season record.
