In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Centennial Cougars basketball team scored a big 70-44 triumph over the Spring Lake Park Panthers.
The Cougars (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Andover (Andover, MN). The Huskies go into the AAAA Section 7 contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Andover smashed Blaine (Blaine, MN), 78-64, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Champlin Park Rebels (Champlin, MN) in a AAAA Section 5 contest, on Friday, January 24. Spring Lake Park will attempt to better on its 4-12 season record. The Rebels go into the contest with a 3-12 record after their 75-57 non-league loss to Rogers (Rogers, MN).
