The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Central Lee Hawks (Donnellson, IA) and the visiting New London Tigers (New London, IA), observed Central Lee's basketball team overwhelm New London by a score of 63-23.

The Hawks (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against West Burlington (West Burlington, IA). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 4-12 record. In their last challenge, West Burlington was routed by Danville (Danville, IA), 58-16, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Mediapolis Bulldogs (Mediapolis, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 24. New London will attempt to improve on its 0-17 season record.
